These pilot research projects are applying novel approaches, including participatory action + co-design research methods, to conceptualize, visualize, and address climate change impacts. Visualizing Global Climate Risk Inequities
Prof. Pedro Cruz and students Chloe Hudson-Prock and Gregory Gold used World Bank and Germanwatch Climate Risk Index data, examining countries’ vulnerability to extreme weather events and emissions per capita. Taking a metaphorical approach, the team adopted the hurricane as a form that aligns with the sense of a looming threat.
